The Isan Grand Songkran Festival, held in Khon Kaen Province from April 13-15, has come to a close. The event, which featured the blooming of Khoon trees and the sounds of the khaen, attracted an impressive 250,000 visitors and generated an economic impact of over 1 billion baht. The breakdown of expenditures is as follows

Accommodation and transportation: 172,500,000 baht
Goods and services: 250,000,000 baht.
The festival proved to be a major draw for both local and foreign tourists, stimulating spending and generating significant revenue for the province.
